Hi, I have just been prescribed Levofloxacin after using another antibiotic for bronchitis, and ear infections. My Dr says there is still mucous in my outer ear canal and although it is viral, there must be some type of bacterial infection and to try this antibiotic. It has been 3 weeks that I have had this, ears not much better than 1st week. It goes along with extreme fatigue, nausea, headaches, etc. My concern is reading all the side affects. I am 68, have high blood pressure, have a stent from 3 years ago, arthritis, and had a viral inner ear disorder a year and a half ago which took away all my balance in right ear. This viral, or whatever it is has settled in my right ear, and left, but worse in my right one. I have not taken the Flox yet, as I am concerned and wonder if I should, or go to ENT for a 2nd opinion? Thank you
